About The Friends of Three Sisters
In November 2005 the group became a constituted, not-for-profit, community association. The aims of the group are :-
- To foster communication between the management bodies and the users of the Three Sisters Recreation Area.
- To raise the profile and promote the public use of the Three Sisters Recreation Area.
- To support practical projects to improve the Three Sisters and promote the site by voluntary work and fund-raising.
Help The Friends of Three Sisters
The Friends have a work morning on the second Sunday each month. We meet on the Car Park at 10.00am and work until about noon.
We sometimes have special work weekends if we have larger tasks that take longer than a morning.
We have our meetings on the last Tuesday of most months and the Secretary circulates the information about these either by e mail, text or post, as required by the members.
We also have a Facebook site.
This web site is an attempt to show you that the Three Sisters is an amazing place to visit.
If you look at the WILDLIFE section you will see the variety of wildlife that visits the site.
We thank Don and Dave for letting us use their photos, all of which were taken at the Three Sisters.
If you are a bird watcher, a buggy-pusher or a bike rider, it’s the place for you.
If you are walker, a stroller or a jogger, it’s the place for you.
If you are a photographer, a fisherman or a dog walker, it’s the place for you.
If all you want to do is entertain your children or grandchildren for a time then bring them to play or walk around the site.
If you want to keep fit without expensive gym fees then try our green gym. Come and work in the fresh air and help us to improve the site.
If you like digging, pruning and gardening then the Friends need you. Come along and help with the Wildlife Garden Project.

You will be welcomed with open arms!
If all you want to do is sit in the sun and chat or get to know the regular users of the site, or sit quietly and watch the world go by then the Three Sisters is the place for you.
It can be all things to all people so come along and see.
