More Work on the Garden
We finished planting all the hedging plants that we have but we will need more to hedge the side facing the car park.
We continued to dig over the land. This has not been touched for at least ten years and is full of roots so digging is very slow work.
Unfortunately the Green Spaces team has dumped a load of half shredded shrubs right in the middle of the garden area. No one seems to know why but we now have the job of removing it! Some is going into our compost area and some we will keep to use as mulch but much of it is too woody to use on the garden and we are having to barrow this away to a new site.
Five Friends worked 2 hours this morning.
