Access for All
If we are to enable everyone to use the garden we will need to put in a decent, wheelchair friendly path. This needs to be at least 1.2m wide.
With the help of Lydia and her team of volunteers we pegged out the proposed path. It seems to be taking up a lot of growing space and the trees are limiting where it goes.
I also pegged out a place for a bench with room for a wheelchair next to it.
I do not think the Friends will be able to construct this path, I KNOW I cannot do it, and so I need to find people who will give us estimates for the work.
And I need to find a source of funding!
