2020 – September – Vandals destroy benches in Bird Feeding Station.

We were very disappointed to find that the benches in the Bird Feeding station had been removed.

This is a very popular place for visitors to sit and watch the birds and squirrels feeding.

The Friends will of course repair the damage at our own expense. The only funds we have to do work on the site comes from generous donations from visitors to the site, money we raise through our activities and money we bid for from the council.

Repairing mindless damage like this means we have less to spend on other items on the site.
