Families and young children
Every year the Friends organise an Easter Egg Hunt. It is really a chance to get families with young children to visit the site, see what is here and have a walk and some fun.
This year it was not raining, which is always a good start, and the event was well attended. Over one hundred and eighty completed answer sheets were handed in and over three hundred people walked round the course. All the children handing in a completed answer sheet received a small prize of sweets.
Everyone seemed to have enjoyed the afternoon and are looking forward to the Halloween Walk at the end of October.
