22nd October 2019 Autumn is here and the trees are dropping their leaves. The Friends are clearing them from the Car Park so that the grids will not be blocked. We are saving these leaves in a compost area so they will make leaf mould . Next year we will add this to the soil to improve it. As this area used to be a coal pit, the soil is poor so it needs all the help we can give it.
