2014-November 2nd- Who is building a new Board Walk?

Access to Old Dipping Pond

While walking round the Three Sisters today, we discovered that ‘SOMEONE’ is re-building the board walk that goes from Kestrel Drive, past the Old Dipping Pond and comes out near the Main Drive. The previous board walk was removed some years ago as it was getting unsafe and ever since then we have received complaints about the lack of access to the site from this end of Kestrel Drive.
We have asked around and all we can find out is that “the council have paid for this work” This could mean that WLCT have ordered the work to be done.
We do not mind who has organised it – it now means that once again people can walk the Walk4Life Mile, which used this path and access from Kestel Drive will be restored.
Well Done to the anonymous path builders. I will let you know who they are if we find out.
