Winter is the time when The Friends are busy doing ‘housekeeping’ on the site. The bird boxes are checked, cleaned and mended. This year we have had to replace many of the boxes as they were too badly damaged to repair. Fortunately the Bryn councillors have given us money to buy the materials to make new boxes.
We decided to plant some rowan trees around the site to provide extra berries for the birds. The photos show two of our members busily planting these trees.
